This past Saturday on WWP Thunderstrike, "The Man Mountain" Kilimanjaro defied everyone by signing a contract to join the WDP headed by "The Weasel" Mark Beale after being promised a shot at the World Heavyweight Title and other future opportunities. His tag team partner Kwaito Kid, not knowing this, would find out later on the hard way when they faced the team of Mark Beale and The Blacksmith (going by the name "The Weasels") in the main event of the show.
During the match things were clearly not clicking for the African Coalition, as several times Kwaito Kid ended up unintentionally striking Kilimanjaro when one of the "The Weasels" ducked out the way. Once Kwaito Kid missed his mark for the final time and laid a stiff superkick on Kilimanjaro, Kilimanjaro decided that enough was enough. That was when things truly imploded between the two. As Kilimanjaro stood outside staring at Kwaito Kid in frustration and bewilderment, he realised that the team was no longer a team. The World Tag Team belts meant nothing to him anymore. Kilimanjaro was now WDP material. Kilimanjaro was his own man. Kilimanjaro wanted his real destiny.
Kilimanjaro entered the ring and stunned the audience by laying in several shots of his own on his now former partner. With a resounding powerslam, two jarring corner clotheslines and a sidewalk slam, Kilimanjaro sent his message to Kwaito Kid and the crowd wanted Kilimanjaro's blood as Kwaito Kid was left lying defenceless, a result of Kilimanjaro selling out his soul and personal greed. Kilimanjaro left the ring. The Weasels took advantage of the situation with Mark Beale giving Kwaito Kid several sickening forearms to the chest. The Blacksmith climbed the top rope and flew in with a gigantic splash. The 3-count took place, and The Weasels were victorious. Kwaito Kid had been betrayed. The legacy of the African Coalition was destroyed.
Backstage, Kwaito Kid was said to be in a world of emotions, and Kilimanjaro was out of the arena before things could get out of hand. Several witnesses reported Kwaito Kid vandalising the locker room and threatening to get back at Kilimanjaro. The Weasels, with such a major victory now on their record and gold in WDP's possession, were seen celebrating the night away with champagne and female companions.
Will Kwaito Kid ever be the same again? What will we see Kwaito Kid do to Kilimanjaro the next time they meet? After 2 weeks of utter domination, will anyone be able to stop the WDP's reign of terror on WWP?
