WWP RAMPAGE IN RANDFONTEIN (26 Sep) RESULTS
(1 Oct 2008)

The Rampage was held in Randfontein at the old boxing club. The fans in attendance were eagerly awaiting the show and the small crowd was loud and ready for some action.

Van Axel and Misery vs. Joe Dozer and Afrika (Development Match)

This development match made for some great entertainment and shows how these wrestlers are growing in skill week by week. A good, basic match with Dozer and Africa winning via pin.

Kilimanjaro vs. Bulletproof

'The Man Mountain' Kilimanjaro took the young rookie Bulletproof through his paces with a combination of power and Nigerian charisma. Kilimanjaro was in control for much of the match, but later Bulletproof would make a huge comeback and with a huge crowd response started laying into the big man. In the end the cunning of Kilimanjaro was too much and with a big boot, The Man Mountain took the win with a 1, 2 and 3.

Jason Steele vs. X-Terminator

Steele and X-T were well-matched, similar in weight, height and stature, and the power struggle from the lock-up proved that outpowering your opponent was out of the question. Steele employed some dirty tricks, taking control of X-T in the early goings. X-T, with the help of the crowd, fought back and planted a great Samoan drop on Steele. A back-and-forth battle ensued until Steele hit a Perfect Bomb with X-T kicking out a split second before the three count. X-T ducked a clothesline and gave Steele an F5 (now dubbed the X5) for the three-count.

Terry Middoux vs. Zizou

This match was the highlight of the night with the father and son pair meeting in the ring for the first time. This match was a classic, with excellent work from the 1st and 2nd generation stars. The  match reached 23 minutes before Terry hit the young Zizzou with his finisher and the pin.

Max Detonator vs. Sinister

Max and Sin held a classic catch-as-catch-can style match with hard back-and-forth styles clashing in the centre of the ring. Detonator hit The Wickedness on Sinister, but thanks to the arrogance of Max allowed Sinister to get to his feet. At this time Jason Steele emerged and distracted the ref from the pin. Sin went to Steele and with Max behind him turned around and attempted to hit Max, but instead hit the referee, disqualifying Sinister and giving Max the win.

PJ Black (w/ Laralicious) vs. Ananzi

PJ Black has shown his dark side recently. It seems that with the ever-gorgeous Lara at his side WWP's poster boy has been corrupted as he had no respect for the fans or his opponent Ananzi. The match was set with a solid move base and excellent wrestling on both sides. However, with the ever-present Lara interfering whereever she can Ananzi did not have much room to work with, and with the referee's back turned, the Laracarana was hit on Kobus, allowing PJ to take the advantage and the win.

Randfontein Rumble

10 men entered but at the end we saw Sinister, Max, Steele and X-T remaining after Max and Steele teamed up to eliminate X-T. The duo double-teamed Sinister. Sinister had a few tricks up his sleeve however, and used his cunning to duck at the right time, using Steele to eliminate Max with a clothesline. Steele, who did not seem to be worried about having eliminated Max, put the hurt on Sinister. Max refused to leave and after a scuffle with Steele on the apron allowed Sinister to throw Steele over the top rope, winning the Randfontein Rumble.
