The WWP Ladies World Championship has been the crown jewel of the highly competitive Ladies division since the early days of WWP. Scorn was the first champion and lost in decisive fashion to the fans' own Venus. Venus met a tough challenge with the highly talented Allison Wilder and the two faced each other in many classic battles. Wilder unseated Venus in 2006 and only lost the title a year later when her toughest opponent to date and a rookie of the sport, Akilah, upset her. Akilah would then go on to face the British Pippa La Vinn in several wins before finally losing to her in a surprising manner. La Vinn's reign would be short as Akilah returned for a rematch. Akilah won the belt in another classic Ladies match and is the current holder.
